The Restoration of Historical Gardens
Be it the 17th Century, 1800’s or the more contemporary 1930’s diligent research often provides a useful framework landscape restoration. However, a revision / modification of the physical form is often required to facilitate the far greater diversity of activities and functions that the previous design was not required to facilitate. It is this sympathetic combination of the historic with modern day requirements that results in a practical enhanced solution for today’s visitors and other users. Previously we have arrived at appropriate designs working with both the member of the Historic House Society and in association with a Fellow of the Royal Horticultural Society.
